Following a major renovation, the Tunelio Street viaduct was rebuilt, maintaining its functionality while improving its technical specifications. Due to its poor condition, the staircases leading to the viaduct were also reconstructed — approximately 300 meters of stairs were renewed in total. These works ensured safer and more convenient pedestrian movement and improved the city’s infrastructure, while maintaining smooth traffic flow in this key transport hub in Kaunas.
