An exceptional event took place today in Klaipėda – a capsule for future generations was inserted into the future Cruise Ship Terminal, thus marking the acceleration of the construction of the new space for the port and the city.

In this project, the Tilsta team has been entrusted with a special task – to install quays on which the administrative building of the port and spaces for the public will be built, such as an amphitheatre, pedestrian and bicycle paths, and recreation areas.

The project director of Tilsta, who participated in the event, Ernestas Stonys emphasizes the uniqueness of this object: “We are happy and proud to contribute to this significant project not only for Klaipėda, but for the whole of Lithuania. It is a technologically very interesting and complex object. A large part of the work is invisible to the public – it is carried out underwater. Working in water, where advanced technologies and exceptional professional competencies are a huge appreciation and responsibility for us. We strive to ensure that the infrastructure we create will reliably serve both the port and the society for many decades.”
