Bridges, viaducts, and quaysides are essential components of transport infrastructure. They ensure convenient mobility and help shape a nation’s identity. This is the foundation of our daily work.
However, a country’s infrastructure goes far beyond transportation. The functioning of society, the economy, and industry also depends on other infrastructure sectors.
As broad-spectrum infrastructure experts, we are capable of and actively working in a different field – energy. Lithuania is currently making significant investments in energy security, reinforcing its independence in this strategic area and advancing major infrastructure projects. Our team is proud to contribute to these changes by delivering solutions that enhance the country’s energy resilience.
At the beginning of this year, we launched intensive, non-stop work at the Kruonis Pumped Storage Hydroelectric Power Plant. This is a unique and complex project: the work takes place in facilities located below the riverbed, where internal combustion engines cannot be used. As a result, we are implementing innovative and sustainable solutions.
There are – and will be – many challenges. But that’s exactly what Tilsta is built for.
The reconstruction of the electricity supply system will enable more efficient energy production control and strengthen the stability of the national power grid.
