A large part of the demolition work on one of the old Krunas Bridge structures has already been completed – all above-ground components have been fully dismantled. Currently, the materials are being crushed and removed. The main demolition works are expected to be completed by the end of May.

At the same time, construction of the new bridge has already begun – platforms for launching the superstructure and bored piles for the future bridge supports are being installed.

“The project is progressing according to schedule – it’s important not only to carry out the demolition efficiently, but also to ensure a smooth transition to the construction phases of the new bridge. That’s why close cooperation between all teams is a key factor in the successful implementation of the project,” said Tilsta CEO Eduardas Grinaveckas.
