Upon completion of the reconstruction project, the Smiltynė Quay and Ferry Terminal were upgraded, including the installation of adjustable ramps to ensure smoother and more efficient transportation flow. The works were carefully scheduled to minimize inconvenience to the public — reconstruction took place during the off-season, allowing the ferry terminal to operate at full capacity during the summer. The upgraded infrastructure has improved the functionality of the terminal, enhanced safety, and provided more convenient access for both local residents and tourists.
