The Fegda Group has produced and donated eighty “dragon’s teeth” to the Lithuanian Army

Fegda grupė made and donated eighty “dragon teeth” to the Lithuanian Armed Forces – concrete road barriers that make it difficult for the movement of military equipment

We are glad that this meaningful initiative came from the employees of our group of companies – by participating in the internal survey, our employees indicated the strengthening of national defence as a priority area of social responsibility.

We decided to contribute to ensuring the security of our state by doing what we do best for the Dragon’s Tooth army: we produced it at the Tilsta reinforced concrete factory of the Fegda Group, a company in Vilnius. All the concrete barriers we have made have already been handed over to the army and have been distributed among the counter-mobility parks in Lithuania.

“We have many years of experience in concrete production – we know everything about concrete production. Therefore, the idea of making concrete barriers that complicate the movement of military equipment – “dragon’s teeth” – and donating them to the army was born very organically,” says Gediminas Gribulis, the head of Fegda Group.

“Dragon’s teeth” are road obstacles that are especially effective in stopping tanks. These concrete barriers are erected close to each other, often reinforced with barbed wire, protected by mines and other protective measures.

The “dragon’s teeth” handed over to the Lithuanian Armed Forces are special because they are even stronger and more durable than standard ones, as they are made of higher-class concrete.

“Now more than ever, we see clearly that we must first defend ourselves. Only the citizenship, initiative and real work of each of us will help protect our state if necessary,” says G. Gribulis.
